Couple Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano decided to enrol their son in a class.

Seve, who’s turning one year and seven months this April, will be having a tutor and attend classes on weekends.

Toni explained that aside from improvement of the child’s motor skills, she and her husband don’t have much time to focus on teaching Seve since they are both working.

“You don’t really have that much time anymore to focus and sit down, so there’s someone [who does the job].” she said in an interview with PEP.

Paul also agreed and said: “Yeah, we’re hoping to retire early…Preparation niya when he goes to school.”

“She comes twice a week, and helps him out with color, shapes, numbers,” Paul continued referring to the tutor.

But just like any other grandparents, Toni’s mommy Pinty and her mother-in-law Marissa Soriano object to the idea because it’s too early especially at his age.

They said there’s no such thing as early education during those times and that it’s okay without it. They also attested that their children grew up fine without a tutor.

But still, the first time parents decided to give their son an early education.

I had a great time in Baguio mommy and daddy!

They both got the idea of hiring a tutor from Drs. Hayden Kho and Vicki Belo. Their daughter Scarlet already knows how to speak Mandarin because of her teacher.
