Orange & Lemons has a message to those comparing IV of Spades to them.

On Twitter, Orange & Lemons asked people to give the new and promising band a break.

“Comparing IV of Spades to the music of Orange & Lemons is comparing apples and oranges. Give the kids a break,” it tweeted.

The band also noted that its members have experienced being praised and being bashed at the same time when they were just starting so they know exactly how it feels.

“11 years ago, we had our share of crazy fandom and haters too. We know how it feels,” it expressed.

Orange and Lemons

Orange and Lemons, which was formed in 1999, was composed of Mcoy Fundales, Clem Castro, and brothers Ace and JM del Mundo.

Fundales served as the lead vocalist and guitarist since its formation until its last reception in 2007.

In 2017, after a 10-year split, Castro and the Del Mundo brothers announced the band’s comeback.
