Live-in partners identified as Roberto Torres and Fransheila Geronimo were arrested in a buy-bust operation staged by the Santa Maria Police at Barangay Catmon, Santa Maria, Bulacan.

Roberto and Fransheila were cuffed after a cop posed as a buyer.

Seized from the suspects were 10 sachets of shabu worth P10,000.

The two denied that they were selling illegal drugs.

Eventually, Roberto admitted he’s using shabu but they never admitted selling.

“Hindi po namin alam kung saan po nila nakuha ‘yung sinasabi nila na drugs na nakita po nila do’n,” Fransheila said. [We do not know where they got the illegal drugs they’ve been saying.]

According to Sta Maria Police chief Police Superintendent Carl Omar Fiel, the suspects’ selling operations reached Calumpit and San Jose del Monte.

The two are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
