One can hardly imagine that the resort-like home of award-winning actor Coco Martin which is situated in a 2,000 sq.m. property has a spacious verdant nook which appeared to be a provincial oasis teemed with various plants that are growing nicely.
For someone as busy as the star of “Ang Probinsyano,” gardening has proven to be a sort of relaxing activity for him, an article published on ABS-CBN News.Com disclosed.
After work, Coco even finds time to personally water the plants in his own backyard. And yes, he even harvests his own grown vegetables like eggplant, ampalaya, pechay, okra, chili, among others.
He also planted fruit-bearing trees in the area such as mango and bananas which in due time will bear fruits, as well.
Calling his mini-farm as his “favorite place,” Coco built his own nipa hut or “bahay kubo” in the area—a symbol of comfortable but simple lifestyle.
A family-oriented individual, he shares his posh home which has numerous art pieces in the interior and a front door designed by the late National Artist Abdul Imao to other immediate relatives to include his grandmother and siblings.
Considered as a role model of other showbiz personalities, the 34-year-old actor values his family more than anything else in the world.
In an earlier article published by PEP last May 27, the Kapamilya actor was proud to say that it is the result of all the hard work he has done in show business for the past 10 years.
He said that everything he owns symbolize how far he has come, from struggling actor to an A-list star.
