EU retaliates at DSWD exec: Child porn is a grave crime

The European Union (EU) has responded to DSWD’s Assistant Secretary Lorraine Badoy’s critical statement towards the regional bloc’s members — to just engage in child pornography instead of throwing criticisms at President Rodrigo Duterte.

The controversial declaration thrown by Social Welfare Assistant Secretary Badoy against the European Union has heat up and become the most talked about issue among concerned people of both parties.

“The issue of child pornography is extremely serious and a grave crime. It should be addressed in a serious and responsible manner,” said Franz Jessen, the EU Ambassador to the Philippines, on Tuesday on GMA 7 “24 Oras.”

It was through social media that Badoy released her controversial and sarcastic advice towards EU to just “engage in child porn.”

The EU has been interfering with Duterte’s policies to reinstate the death penalty in the Philippines by demanding a stop to efforts. Its parliament also called for the immediate release of detained Philippine Senator Leila de Lima; the sternest critic of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.

Moreso, Badoy also advised Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Antonio Trillanes, another Duterte critic, to learn a new craft like doing crochets or baking cupcakes.
